What symptoms do you look for after 3 week initial treatment?

So I found out a few days ago that my eye doctor, who is the first person to ask me if I had been tested for Lyme, had recently had a tick bite with a rash.

This is in a state that officially does not have Lyme.

Her doctor put her on a 3 week dose of doxycycline. Obviously, the rash went away. So since we all know that doesn't mean the Lyme is necessarily gone, what kinds of symptoms should she watch for?

I don't know if it would be a specific set of symptoms.

I think the more common ones are fatigue, aches and pains, fever?

I never had those as initial symptoms though.

I think I would watch for any symptoms at all.
Any aches or pains or feelings of unwell.

I wondered because the only things I remember are debilitating headaches, but it was 35+ years ago so that's all I remember.

I hate to have the person who helped me find the answer end up sick like me.
