Holy cow!!! Funny expression, I know...

But anyhoo, Oregon has had THE HOTTEST summer that I, in all my 50 years living here, can remember. And I don't even believe IN global warming-I do however follow the sunspots/flare activity and the cycles!

I feel bad for whining @ hubby for not taking me anywhere, when ITS JUST TOO HOT anyway!

I was outside watering plants for just 30 mins and sweat up a storm!

I'm feeling grateful for electricity and A/C, oh and a hubby who works hard so we can afford to water our plants & cool our house!

Hey Sweet Pea can we come over? LOL We are 20 min. west of Portland and it was over 100 degrees today (and yesterday) . We don't have A/C but if this keeps up, I will consider A/C for next summer. It's tough for anyone who doesn't like excessive heat but when you have an illness, it's so much harder to bear.

I heard Portland was the 2nd hottest in the US today. I don't think I've ever heard of that happening here before.

I don't perspire much, so I don't feel very good in this weather, so I look forward to next week with normal temperatures.

Last night it was over 80 out around 11:30, too hot for sleeping!

Stay cool! IHL, I hope you're doing ok in this weather.

Just curious how many days you have had since mid-May.

I live in the Southeast and in the 20 years I've lived here, I have never acclimated.

A local realtor joked that when someone asks about the weather, he said "it's beautiful here. Kids can play out side 10 months of the year." The two months are July and August.

Although, winters have been getting worse. Climate change, what can we do?
