I want to get a good book to read that talks about
Lyme Disease, Herbals, Treatment, Detox etc. I will be using herbs from the cowden protocol so if the book had some information on that, that would be good. Just looking for a good read in general.
Any recommendations?

I'd second Mr Mike's suggestion!

I bought Richard horowitz book can't get better and it is a good book but I didn't like the way it was written. He tells stories about
certain patients and then talks about
what the issues are.
I like books that are more black and white about
information and not told like a story. It was hard for me to read for some reason. Too hard to find the answers I was looking for. But a lot of people really like it.
I bought a book about
biofilm wrote by James shaller (pretty sure?) And liked it. It has big words and was easy to read. A little expensive for how short it was though.
I also bought everything you need to know about
Lyme disease and it's very basic information. I considered it outdated. It's a good book for people that know absolutely nothing about
lyme I'd say.
Next books I buy will be Stephen buhners. I've heard good things about
them. I do abx along with herbs. I also might pay for the subscript
ion for the treat lyme book that I see on Facebook all the time. They have a lot of articles about
very specific things. I've seen a ton of stuff I was wondering about
but can't read the full articles until I subscribe. They do let you read something like 5 of them for free though.

I also liked "Insights Into Lyme Disease Treatment: 13 Lyme-Literate Health Care Practitioners Share Their Healing Strategies" by Connie Strasheim.

You can take a peek inside with that link.

There were some questions about
OLE over the last few weeks and one of the things that came up is the Buhner chose not to include it because there wasn't enough evidence.
It was suggested that I use it to provoke the Lyme because I had many decades old exposure. I tested positive for both CDC and Igenex IgM.
I had also purchased "Insights Into Lyme Disease Treatment" and was skimming through it. I found that one of the doctors in there does use OLE.
So it gives a range of ideas and might be helpful in understanding different ways of treating Lyme and co.

Oh and Connie Strasheim wrote a book about
her journey. It's called "The Lyme Disease Survival Guide." It discusses many different types of treatments and the forward is written by Dr James Schaller who is mentioned above.
