Deciding if this is C Diff

Hello, I need help about c diff and knowing if that's what I have or if I"m herxing.
Started clindaymacin last monday and then Doxy and Rifampin Wed and Fri. Flagyl on Wed. Diflucan on Th and Fri.
On Saturday morning I began getting diarrhea at 9am when I got up and haven't stopped since. spent all day in bed yesterday. I have NO appetite, I force myself to eat and drink. IT all comes out within 2 minutes. I have no fever, however. I have constant cramping and abdomenal pain.

In my stool sample from my LLMD this past July, it showed c diff in my stool sample with a 4+ beside it. And it was in the notation of abnormal things. But the LLMD didn't circle it as a problem. Didn't even mention it.

Is that b/c sometimes it's a beneficial or expected flora?

I already know I'm very close to developing crohns disease, according to LLMD and test results indicating an IBD.

So...without a fever, but watery diarrhea for 2 days, severe cramping and bloating, loss of appetite totally, nausea, and with the propensity for bowel problems..

what are your thoughts?

I tend to get hyperemotional over health issues and I've been to the ER more times than I can count only to have them say I'm "fine."

Besides, the ER is a half hour away and I don't think I can not go to the bathroom that long!!

Should I email my LLMD (I wouldn't be able to "See" him; I could only see my primary doc for an urgent appt) and let him know, well of course I will, but...
should I be seen now?

or consider this herxing? I've only just started abx treatmnet last week and I didn't even do a full week.

I read here they treat c diff with flagyll but I only took two doses of it - Wednesday morning and night. Over this weekend I've been off abx. I'm pulsing, btw.

sorry to post this twice, girlie. I realized after I posted it in the other spot that maybe more ppl would see it in its own thread.
my LLMD is doing pulse abx therapy so that's why i'm on so many at one time. two weeks on and two weeks off. he studied under Dr Jemsek in DC - who started pulse therapy. I'm not sure this type is for me... but I had to start somewhere, you know?

I was starting one at a time, but then my LLMD said we had to hit it hard and my case was so complex, it wouldn't be helped unless it got hit hard. I know there's alot of herxing when you pulse because of the very nature of being on so many at one time...

It doesn't matter who he studied under if he is ignoring a positive C-diff test!! I would suggest that you stop the abx until you talk with him at least. Margaret (Teragram) has had C-diff and has found that she can't really use any abx, so do be careful!! With that said, Flagyl is one of the abx used for C-diff infections, and one that is used for these infections

And that " hit it hard and my case was so complex, it wouldn't be helped unless it got hit hard." is baloney. There are plenty of people here, including myself, that have had complex cases and never hit it so hard as to ignore warning signs!

I would also look into seeing another LLMD if this one doesn't understand C-diff well enough to stop the heavy abx when you have a positive test! You surely have enough to cope with without ignoring something as potentially serious as this is.
