Confused with results of Blood test from InfectoLab + Story

Hello everybody!, I'm from Spain, and the last week I did a blood test for borrelia, i did this test to discard.

I read many people with this infection, and its symptoms do not look alike to mine, that is to say, I have some symptoms that this persons have, but these people don't have they usually what I have, and especially one in particular, for this reason i have doubts of having lyme disease.


The results of test are this.

Borrelia burgdoferi Elispot:

Borrelia burgd. fully antigen: <2 Reference Range: <2

Borrelia peptide mix: +2 Ref. Range: <2

Borrelia LFA-1: <2 Ref. Range: <2

Diagnosis Borrelia:
The Elispot-Lymphocyte-Transformation-Test (LTT) indicates borderline cellular activity against Borrelia
burgdorferi.


CD 57 Flow Cytometry:

Natural Killer Cells Heparin: 13% Ref. Range: 6-29

Natural Killer Cells absolute: 208% /ul Ref. Range: 60-700

Heparin:

CD-57 positive NK-Cells Heparin: 6% Ref. Range: 2-77

CD-57 positive NK Cells absolute: -95 /ul Ref. Range: 130-360

Review CD 57:
The CD57-cell-count indicate a immune-suppressive situation.


Clinical Chemistry:

Nothing remarkable except MCHC, that are 31.8 in Ref. Range of 32-36, and Lymphocytes 24 in Ref. Range 25-40, and finally the Eosin.Granulocytes are +8.40 in Ref.Range <4.00, but the doctors told me that can be for having allergy, (I suffer very strong allergy with dermatitis from birth)


Ok, and now i will describe the symptoms what i have, and when start all of this.

As i said before from birth i suffer a "allergy pack" with atopic dermatitis and asthmatic bronchitis, and for this at the age of 13 i start up treatment for 4 years with Symbicort 80/4.5 (Beta-adrenergic Formoterol + Budesonide Corticosteroid) From 13 to 17 apparently i felt great, i say apparently, because i am a so tolerant person that many symptoms i was ignoring them, thinking that they would disappear, symptoms like a bones that creaked more than normal, backaches, and some joint pains, as I say for me that it was not "very important, i was thinking that it would be that something could happen and well could resist given my "personality".

On the other hand, i felt perfect of my bronchitis, my asthmatic bronchitis was never serious ever, but it was plethoric in this space of time, (i was a professional soccer player).
I started to feel a "rare" sensation in stomach, i was feel when i had to confront a apparently "stressful" situation, i guess it would be adrenaline, and felt stronger than ever, such as a rollover, many times I wondered why my body react like this, if previously in these situations my body did not react as well.

The time advanced and at the age of 17 years one day at dawn I began to feel stranger, i could not breathe, but it was not a bronchitis sensation, it was as if it was in a sauna, I felt that the heart was not beating in a correct way, it was like "caught", I got up and i was scared as every person would do, after this the "rare" sensation in stomach it went out once again, but this time with excessive force, and i had a quite strong tachycardia, it was strange to feel that it did not have the control of my heart, it had quakes and this "adrenaline" of the stomach now was to explode permanently.

Since then, the joint problems have gone to much more, all the creaky joints, (including the sternum) and well the mere fact of gnashing does not matter to me, what is important for me that rub against each other the joints and i hurts pretty, hurt me quite all the joints, The tendons are bothering me, i have carpal tunnel syndrome (i haven't given much importance, but it is one more thing to add), it is so strong that I can't to be 10 seconds with the arms in high, since I do not have sensitivity, since then as I was saying I have had multiple tachycardia, in fact my heart not returned to beat without disturbing as you did before, it was beating very strong, (such as a great Ball, causing choking intense) and permanently in a tachycardia very strong (200bpm), for this reason, I have to take a beta-blocker (bisoprolol 5 mg).


The "discharge" (like vertigo but much a lot more strong) on the adrenal zone is very very strong from the day on which exploded, this "automatic discharge" causes speed up the heart of a very violent form and may cause changes in blood pressure with dizziness quite drastic very large all the time, when i began up take beta-blocker i started a feel eye problems, As if i had a strange object in my eye, And of course it was true, I had left two parallel scars of a very small size but symmetrical and identical in size and shape in both eyes, (lower part of the iris), from this i have floaters in both eyes and light flashes.Of all this has spent 6 years and a half, 6 years and a half of unimaginable suffering, filled with visits to physicians, many visits to the emergency room by that State of health... without that they can make me nothing of, much money spent on doctors supposedly TOP, and nobody knows nothing, and neither know the reason of because my heart goes as well, and of course they have no idea of the "discharge of suprarrenal area" of which I speak.

For this reason i make the blood test for Borrelia on my own, but as i said i'm not sure to have borrelia.

I look back and i can't believe that I may not be that guy with that vitality so great, without any problem from heart or articulate without tiredness.., and I realize that I am still very young and i have much to live.., but i just can't do all of this alone

This to me says you have Lyme. The reference range is less than two and yours is positive 2!

Two days ago sent me an e-mail infectolab and told me this:

The plus 2 in the Elispot is borderline but too low to indicate an ongoing activity of the T cell immunity against Borrelia.
For the cd57 cells, there is much discussion on the norm values. Some phyicians consider even a 60 value as normal.

Overall, Borrelia testing in the panel of test you did are not strongly considered. Further tests might be helpful such as serology.
Most important, please consult a physician , the symptoms and history is more important than a laboratory test.

Ok, today was visit the doctor and he told me have to go that to repeat the blood test, but this time by ELISA mode, that they can't do western blot..obviously i have to move to the capital for search a Top Hospital..but doesn't matter the test is programmed for October! r u kidding me?.

I can't walk with my heart about to explode, with this physical fatigue so large, with this brutal drowning, and especially if there is anything i hate more than anything, it is the ****ing discharge permanent that revolutionizes the whole body and is capable of putting my heart even with beta-blocker to 230bpm throughout the day, apart from that depletes energy reserves, this is my day to day, I will give you an example, i without doing absolutely nothing, my heart already is going to explode and moves all my body, both the strength and the speed and the way of go is unconscionable, and it seems he was out of site, i have a kind of very big discharge that generates discharges very large adrenaline irrational, creates a terrible anxiety and panic attacks, this symptom is devastating for the heart going in very strong and very fast, more starting choking, then ends in hyper-tachycardia, a normal situation it would be as well: I go walk away with a extreme physical fatigue and everything my body stiff and with pain, but even so I am making a effort and i can go on, the heart seems like to explode of how fast and strong that works, choking is very large, and as if that was not enough i have to my "friend" discharge that all the time is sending these super "adrenaline discharge" that accelerate much more the heart of exaggerated form, increases my tiredness of a very abrupt way, increases my drowning, increases my anxiety and can end up in a super Panic Attack with heart exploding..and shatters my whole nervous system…sounds well this state of health to make normal life really ah?,I am sarcastic because the doctors always said that i had nothing and that it could make normal life.

Hi traveler, at this moment i want repeat the test blood and i will make by Igenex, i was thinking to do a western blot.

The option to treatment myself i do not consider because i don't have idea how to proceed, and what treatment is the best for me, now i have to repeat the test and have to confirm the serology.

In this moment i'm thinking around several tests, I would like to know which are the most reliable for this case and what i have to proceed, you've said that the western blot test requires that my body generate antibodies to that of positive, I was thinking of doing the 4090 panel of iGeneX, that includes Western blot IGG and IgM, Lyme IGG/IgM/IgA Screen (IFA) **

do you see necessary to do 6050 panel which includes Lyme PCR Serum and Lyme PCR Whole blood?.

In the case that give positive for the band 31, would that ordered 2 tests epitope igM and igG before or after?

Hello again!, i'm back after seeing many doctors, on these months, they have done two ELISA test, that been have negative, (but we all know the accuracy of this test).

Now i'm full of doubts, i want to do a basic lyme panel of igenex, but for other part i've read the new Seraspot of Arminlabs.. and i don't know which choose, and also i don't know if i have lyme...

anyway i would like know, if you have had many mentals symptoms, i've read many symptoms that i have,(lethargy, inability to find the right word, confusion, drowsiness, feeling of being out of the body, severe stress, anxiety, insomnia, sleep does not repair, etc..) but one in specific it is what i want to know, it is of wake up confused, and having much overwhelmed, is like being inside a mental prison that you can not escape from this intense fear for no reason, (without being afraid for my part) as if it was total panic button activated automatic and you can't escape from this sensation that appears without reason, and very intense fear is coming on (panic attack) and mental block, without xanax or another benzo normally this just exploiting and i end up having very large tachycardia (more than 200bpm)

Two negative ELISAs ? I've had 3 negative, and i was really really sick. I've had a doctor telling me to "put the lyme diagnosis out of your mind, because you surely don't have lyme". If i would have stopped there... i just don't imagine what would had become of me...

Tachycardia, air hunger - was my first symptom, among with fatigue. Under no circumstances don't accept steroids in your condition, until you are absolutely sure you need them. A course of corticosteroids for my "asthma" of just 1-2 weeks got me really sick and started the disease in full force. Systemic infections and steroids don't work well together...

I'd recommend to find an LLMD and give it a try. If she thinks you need treatment, and you dont have lyme, then you'll waste some $$ in the first few months, but will get some answers. In your condition you probably have a high bacterial load (if this is what you have), so it's a simple as seeing what's going to happen to you when you are prescribed an antibiotic/herb that destroys spirochetes...

If you have a herx (you can find what this is on the "New To Lyme?.......Start here!" topic on the first page of the forum) then i really think you should continue treatment.

I was full of doubt, and i have not had borderline results like you, but pretty visible and clear positive WB with 4 bands. And still, only when i was prescribed Minocycline and saw what happened 48h after first pill, then my belief system has received a big boost that im on the right track. But before that ... yeah... doubt.

Whatever you do please don't stop seeking an answer to what is wrong with you... That is by far the worst mistake.

Revolution, why not turn to the natural protocols instead of trying to get the unbelieving doctors to listen to you? Even if you do get a positive test, they won't be able to help you heal as they don't know how to properly treat you.

Depending on how long you have before having that test, it could help you to get a positive result. But my question is even after you have a positive test, would your doctors know how to treat you sufficiently so that you could be reasonably sure that you no longer have the infection(s)? If they don't know about the testing, then it's not likely they would be able to provide good treatment either - unless this is so that you can be referred to a doctor that does know how to best treat these infections.
