Hi all,
I just wanted to share a positive story for anyone who is struggling very bad. I'll make it relatively short. But anyway I got sick in December 2014, misdiagnosed until May 2015 so idk when I got this but I ended up with Bart and Lyme. I am on 2 antibiotics and a-Bart now for the better part of 2.5 months with a 2 week break at one point. Like many people I had very weird symptoms, pretty much everything possible wrong with my eyes, brain fog, migraines, strange head pressure, severe Anxiety and panic attacks, general lethargy, muscle weakness, so many things that I'm probably leaving half of them out. But anyway 2 months ago I was in bed most of the time no energy to do anything, couldn't drive bc my eyes were too bad and didn't know what to do with myself. I had went from being in the gym 6 days a week lifting heavy to being bed ridden and struggling to even workout for a half our 1-2 times a week.
So anyway now in the past month after slowly improving each month and week I'm doing so much more! This week was great I'm back in the gym and I spent the whole week down the shore with my family. I was able to be in the sun for 4-5 hours a day, swim in the ocean go in the boat and I'm walking 4-5 miles a day according to my fit bit and only having minor herxes here and there (today I am bc yesterday was a very long day). I also drove 2.5 hours and made it all the way here by myself! My eyes aren't perfect yet but they have improved greatly and I do still have bad days but so much better than before. Overall I'm really happy with my progress and so is my doctor. I think I still have a long way to go until I'm back to normal but it feels like I'm starting to live my life again. I'm hoping to even go back to work in a few weeks. I have followed my diet to a T most of the time no gluten very little sugars (probably 1-10 grams at most) and no dairy, and also have been using detox baths and infrared sauna. Just wanted to post this up for anyone struggling, I still am struggling at times but not as bad as before, I have some symptoms with my eyes that still stick around constantly but sometimes are better than others. I will continue to treat this and fight it hard.
