I have been taking Nutramedix Pinella (with burbur) for several months...

Is it okay to add the Neuro-Antitox - or is it too much?

Even though they're both for the brain, they do have different ingredients...

Overkill? ...or the more the merrier?

I would say it would depend on your needs. If you don't take them at the same time, I would think it would be okay. Just watch for issues.

And this will bump this up so hopefully others will chime in!

Teehee Girlie, as soon as I get my Neuro-antitox figured out, I will also be adding burbur and pinella! LOL. We are doing these in opposite order to one another just now! :) good luck with it, will be listening so I can learn. TY for posting this! ~ a

No, I wouldn't take them together, Trav.

Alimom4 - I haven't purchased the Neuro-antitox yet...just considering it...as my head has been awful since mino...it was a bit before, but now it's ramped up.
(pressure behind my eyes, off-balance...) I'm hoping it's because mino crosses the blood/brain barrier so good, that it's killing stuff that the other meds weren't.

I developed those same ones when I started cryptolepis....

CD - he knew they were one of my symptoms...and I did tell him that I was herxing on the mino half dose, and then herxed again after starting the full dose...but I didn't describe all the symptoms that had ramped up.

Today is Day 4 or 5?? of Rifampin 1/4 dose and I am feeling a bit better. First few days weren't good. I'm sure my husband was thinking "here we go again"...lol...as he listened to me cry, whimper, blubber, and ask him if he thought I had lyme disease, or could there be something else wrong with me. rolleyes

I'm sure he had a few choice answers....but he just reassured me I was herxing...

Girlie, glad the Herx is srtrting to settle down a little!
My husband has to reassure me a lot like that too. Thank god for guys like them! Some kind of supportive person, whether partner or friend, etc... is SO imp't! :)

Yes, Ali....so important. When I think back...had I been with an insensitive, non-believer...I don't know where I'd be right now - I was in a really bad place for many months.
I count my lucky stars everyday.

It's our 25 year anniversary next year...and I am so hoping that I will be well...or at least well enough to go to Hawaii and renew our vows. (We were married there). I never thought about doing that....until I got sick.

Trav - I had a pretty good day yesterday...my brain wasn't fuzzy, no pressure in my head for most of the day, and my pain level and nervous system vibrations/shivers...were low.
It did get worse in the evening, but I had all day to think about things I wanted to do when I get well...felt optimistic.
I have my fingers crossed...that it's the new protocol I'm on - finally really hitting bart.
