Try to relax. Lyme love stress. Listen to music or watch something that makes you laugh.
Magnesium helped me a ton with nausea. I also use reusable cold packs.
I'd highly recommend ordering alka seltzer gold. I hate regular alka seltzer. My dad made me use it eons ago and I told him I would throw up if I drank it and I was right...I showed him
I was beyond skeptical about
using the gold version but it really helps. If you are starting back to school you are going to need every tool.
Talk to your teachers and let them know what your dealing with. My kids are 27 and 24. I'd tell them the same thing.
What diet are you on? No gluten? Can you eat gluten free oatmeal to help settle your stomach? Amazon has a student prime that's very reasonable. They sell gluten free snyders pretzel in small packages that you could take with you to class. Broths are great. My stomach adjusts after a day or two but everyone is different.
If you have a lot of trouble with nausea ask your MD to rx the patch that goes behind your ear. It works incredibly well. I've been given that for surgeries because I have trouble with anesthesia. I asked a friend who is an RN about
it after and she told me that all the RN's use it when the go on cruises to avoid being sea sick. The only draw back is that it makes women thirsty. That's actually good for Lyme patients as it will help ensure you flush enough liquids.
If the herx is to strong to handle with school cut back to less doses a day or less days per week.
