I have two of the portable type saunas that were both around $200, one was in storage and inaccessible at the time I bought the second one.
The second one I bought was the low-EMF type:
www.amazon.com/Radiant-Saunas-BSA6310-Rejuvenator-Portable/dp/B00MX19M9E/The problem with it is that it doesn't really heat up nearly as well, so I need to sit in it for 1 1/2 hrs or so to really feel detoxed. It works if you put a movie on or something but now I have both accessible and I prefer the original one that is probably higher EMF but gets nice and hot. I don't know if this is true of all low-EMF FIR saunas. In general I find I prefer the traditional Finnish style saunas, the portable infrared ones are just a convenient alternative. I looked into the near-IR type but haven't tried one as they are a bit of a niche market.
I read this article a while back on the radio-safe zone in West Virginia where a lot of EMF refugees wind up:
www.slate.com/articles/technology/future_tense/2013/04/green_bank_w_v_where_the_electrosensitive_can_escape_the_modern_world.htmlSo it's clear that some people have major issues with EMF but I'm not certain that I do. I don't notice any negative effects from EMF exposure, in fact I'm making a lot of progress these days using Rife, which is effectively just pumping EMF into your body.
