Diagnosing Bart

When I started with my LLMD, there was only a test for LYME. The ALS Culture test. I have always held some doubt about it's quick (12 day) positive result. But my LLMD is a believer.

I live in MN, which I believe is endemic for Bartonella. I wonder if it is worth testing for it. (Is the testing as unreliable and controversial as it is for Borellia?)

Had to leave my job and am tired of the isolation this disease causes. (I am divorced without kids).

Any suggestions on whether I should spend money checking for Bart?

You must have been tested since you have been using Buhner's protocol?

My LLMD tested for bart w/ the Fry Labs test… the results were interesting—showed "5-10 organisms per total fields - coccobacilli (yellow arrows), suggestive of epierythrocytic bacteria or an unspecified infectious and/or parasitic disease. Visible structures suspect of protozoan embedded in biofilm communities (red arrow)."
And then Dr Fry cites Bartonella research references.
