Just wondering am i going crazy???? I was bit 20 years ago and had 2 bullseyes and been sick really the past 10 years. Been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, hashimoto's, anemia, hyperathyroidism, depression, anxiety and neuropathy . It seemed when i got mono 10 years ago it all serviced. Havent been well since. Because i tested neg on lyme tests drs say nope to long ago. Im really angry because i'm not getting better. I found a dr in NH that treats lyme and have an appt in 6 months !!! Ughhhhh .....so question ....what do you think ??? Lyme or no lyme???

Hi, NH80'sLady,

Unfortunately, a bullseye is diagnostic for Lyme. So you had/have Lyme disease. I assume you were never treated? You might want to start a new thread looking for LLMDs in NH and see if you can find an appointment sooner. In the meantime, I'm glad you found us. Check out the New to Lyme thread!

NH80'sLady- you can also start treating with one of the herbal protocol's that many use. That will help your immune system see the Lyme which will also make it more likely for you to test positive.

Read through the new to Lyme thread that's pinned at the top. There is a lot of useful information there.

Hi NH80's Lady - Welcome to our community!

As Sarah stated in her reply - the bulls eye rash is a symptom of lyme disease.
When you look at all the ailments you have been diagnosed with...most, maybe all could be attributed to lyme disease.

You should seek out a Lyme Literate Dr. (LLMD) and schedule an appointment.

We can help you find one - if you start another thread as Sarah suggested in her post.

Unfortunately, most of the testing depends on antibody response. If you are immune supressed (from lyme and possibly other coinfections), you will have little antibody response - the test will return as negative.

On the positive side, one of our Moderators, Traveller, was infected for many years, and is now in remission. So it is entirely possible to regain your health after years of misdiagnoses.
