At the end of the rope

Hi all,

Just as I was starting to feel better, I have just been diagnosed with C Diff. I am at wits end as this means no more antibiotics. I was treating lyme and bart with herbs but I had to go to clindy/quinine for babs. I was starting to feel better, but over the past couple days I've been having stomach pains and diarrhea.

I am now afraid that I'll never be able to take clindy for the clindy/quinine combo again. I know that every single babs combo contains at least 1 antibiotic to prevent resistance. I was working on babs for a very long (10 months) time with buhner herbs and artemisin, taking 3x the dosage that buhner recommends. It was clear to me that herbs wouldn't beat my babesia (which by the way is B. duncani, the worst one).

I don't know what to do anymore. My symptoms are very intense and I don't wanna go back to that, but I can no longer take the clindamycin or any other antibiotics for that matter to prevent resistance. Not sure what to do. Would call LLMD but he is closed all weekend.

I agree with Traveler about giving the herbs another try.

In his latest book, "Freedom from Lyme Disease....", Bryan Rosner mentions that previously ineffective treatments can prove quite effective if attempted at a later date.

Sorry you're now dealing with c-difficile.
I agree with the Trav and Cd - try the herbs again...and they may help.

I would do the BVT, not many negatives if your not allergic to it. You will herx, but it kills everything.
