RETURN TO WORK

I recently turned 53 yrs old. Im an LPN. Finally 3 yrs ago I got a job which I loved working in Primary Care. Monday thru Friday, no weekends, no holidays. Every Nurses dream.
I was taken out of work in May due to my symptoms, then finally diagnosed with Lyme in July by a LLMD.
I have since lost my position, but still am employed by this hospital.
My PCP has me out of work until Dec to see if any improvement. My symptoms now are severe joint pain, pain in bottoms of feet, fatigue, shortness of breath, memory loss, fevers, nausea and vomiting, urinary tract infections and or just symptoms, headaches.
I see my LLMD next week for follow up on my Mepron, Bioxin and Doxy. No improvement, s/s worse.
Does anyone ever return to work? I actually miss my job. But obviously can not return yet. This is so depressing and frustrating.

I have returned to work this week. I am still sick and battling with lyme and bart but I have improved enough to where me and my doctor felt it was good to try to do it. So far so good been back at work 2 weeks, just taking things a little slower than normal. I am in territory sales so I drive all day, did 500 miles this week. It seems I still have good days and bad, and some symptoms that linger around so I am continuing to treat. I am not sure how long I have had the bacteria in my body though. I can think back to as far as July-August 2014 I started to get fatigued a lot easier than normal. Then full blown symptoms in December till I was finally diagnosed and treated at the end of May just this year.

I am happy to see that some people do eventually return to work! I just lost my job this week, which was a big disappointment as I loved my job, which was at a great hospital. My goal is to eventually get better and return to work without all the horrible symptoms that all of us endure every day. Good luck to everyone in their journey to good health!
