I just talked to a woman that knows my LLMD and we discussed my test results.
She is so wonderful on the phone and one day I may actually meet her.
I am so naive at this disease and so very uneducated and I go back to my days of beginning menopause.
I refused to be like all the women in the world and the older generation. I studied and I researched and I found a doctor that would write me a prescript
ion for a "drug" from a compounding pharmacy.
Now here I am with all the lyme symptoms and a doctor that is hesitant. This does not sit well with me!
So my nose will be in the books!!
MW is the initials of the woman in Sonoma that I talked to.
Gosh what a great lady and I am saying poo-poo to script
s and I will doing the herbs.
Amazon books here I come!!

Have you decided what herbal protocol to do, yet?
Remember, there's also a lot of knowledge on this forum...if you have any questions...please ask!!!
Happy reading, PeteZa!!

I am going to the doc appt on the 28th for a second opinion and I just have this gut feeling that he is going to think I have a half ***ed case of lyme. Is there such a thing?
So far I am going to go with Buhner's protocol. Unless the more reading I do proves something else, his is what will hopefully work for me. I lost faith in mds and I don't care what other initials they have in front of that md. They are trained by big pharma, taught how to sell big pharma and make their money supporting big pharma.
I've gone hippie! LOL

Ha! Welcome to the Hippie section!!
No, you either have Lyme or don't - kind of like you can't be a little bit pregnant!!

Good luck at your appointment PeteZa! Just walk in there with confidence- the attitude that "I have Lyme and what can you do to help me?" Don't go in there with doubts. A healthy attitude will shine through. Keep us posted. :)
Good luck with the herbs!

Congratulations for your proactive stance, PeteZa - that's how we beat these infections!
I, too, have gone hippie and I must tell you that I feel a LOT better than I did on abx (and I only took doxy and amox).
And, definitely follow Lymie Girl's advice with the new doctor. You are paying for the service - some doctors seem to forget this.
The herbs will be waiting ;)
And, we'll be here to help :)
