Please review the detoxing tips that we have listed in the "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. It has all kinds of helpful ideas of how to increase your body's ability to detox. Oil pulling, activated charcoal and other binders can also be used, and lymph massages as well as milk thistle if you aren't allergic to rag weed (some of us with a rag weed allergy can't tolerate milk thistle because they are in the same family).
A word about
the Epsom salt soaks though - do be very careful with these. You may even want to start off with only soaking your feet, as this can move more toxins from the tissues and into the blood stream than your body can effectively detox out quickly. When you do choose to start with the full body soaks, please only use luke warm water and only stay in the water for no more than 10 minutes until you can gauge how it affects you.
And remember to start off the treatment herbs (A-L drops) at a very, very low dose. You may even find that adding a drop into about
an ounce of water and only taking half (saving the other half in a covered jar until the next day) would be best, since you said you are very sensitive to medicines. This likely means you have impaired detox pathways, so moving slowly with detoxing and treatment would be necessary.
And above all else, remember we are here for you to ask questions!!!
