So as has been discussed many times here, the full moon can trigger one to several days of increased symptoms, especially if it's during a herx for one of us. Some people feel it on during a new moon as well or instead. Some feel this effect the moon has and some don't - but there's no denying it happens!!

The only thing we can do is be aware of when a full moon (or new moon) will happen, and plan accordingly. Usually meaning easy days, no stress, and extra detoxing is about all we can do.

This month we are having a super moon on the 27th - which is this Sunday. A super moon can often create even more or stronger symptoms in those that feel it's effects.

I'm so sorry for those that this will affect. I've been in your shoes each and every month for years. During my worst times, it would start 3 days before and last for 3 days after, but I am happy to report that during a full moon all I do is see a big beautiful moon now. So hang in there!!

Uhmmm, actually, there is a full moon every month - and a new moon every month.

October has a new moon on the 12th and a full moon on the 27th

November has a new moon on the 11th and a full moon on the 25th

and so on.

Thanks for the reminder: I'm intrigued by the cosmos! For me personally, I believe that the ONE, the Creator, GOD has given us signs in the sky-cosmos!!!

I'm not Jewish, but just know that their festivals, rituals, and religious practices often are centered on watching the signs aka for example the so-called blood moons.

Sometimes I feel no change in
symptoms during the full moon, new moon etc.
Sometimes I do, so many variables.

I was going to do one of my artemisinin pulses this weekend. I'm going to hold off...I need to be functional - especially since I was herxing last weekend lol

Nothing like a head's up. It's a shame I can't remember to post about it a week ahead of time every month to send out a warning. I think we need a national warning system!! LOL! We certainly have enough Lyme patients around the country to warrant it!! LOL! turn

Tonight is the night. It is a Supermoon because it will be so very close to the earth in its rotation.

And it is an moon eclipse. The moon will turn a little orangish when it is totally eclipsed.

I am interested in keeping track of my wax and wane of pains to see if I am subject to the pull of the moon.

Rikky, we are not talking about religion in any way, shape or form. We are talking about the full moon's effect on our symptoms. It's very real for those that experience it. It can make life a living hell for some (it did for me) and you have no control over it. It would start 3 days before the full moon and continue through until 3 days after the full moon for me when I was really sick with these infections. As I healed, I noticed less and less issues, and now the only way I know there's a full moon is when I look up in the sky and see it or remember to look at my calendar.

There are those that don't feel any effect from the full moon, and those that feel the effects from the New moon either instead or in addition to the full moon's effect - but make no mistake about it. It's real, even if not everyone feels it. Kind of like having freckles - not everyone had them, but they are most certainly real!!

ugh, I was just out of the country, and was doing better

too bad I could not have stayed another week

if I had the money, I would love to travel abroad for each major moon until I get better

less gmo foods abroad, and I think that contributes , for me anyways.... to more intense flares, reactions with the new, full moons...

We were out watching the lunar eclipse last night, with the super moon and harvest moon. The next time that happens will be 2033! So I'm glad we had a clear night to see it.

We had clouds and could not see it. I am so weird though. I have felt pretty good for the last couple of days. Maybe I am in bizarro world

PeteZA, that's too bad you didn't get to see it. We didn't see it from the very beginning, but we watched the moon coming back out.
