Lyme? Bare necessities for what's next?

Hey guys,

It's looking like I have Lyme. Tested present for IGG and IGM band 23. Test came back as "negative" since only 1 band showed up. But from what I've seen band 23 is specific to Lyme, it also showed negative because I have <.80......my doctor is supposed to call me back for a game plan on what the next step is.....

Here is my dilemma, my family and I are living paycheck to paycheck (literally) and it seems no llmd's accept health insurance and I have a high deductible.

What are the absolute bare necessities I need right now? Doxycycline? Further testing? If so, what specific tests?

Symptoms are fatigue, achiness, tinnitus, light sensitivity, inner ear issues sometimes.....been going on and off for 5 years, all labs and brain MRI are normal (brain MRI was done 2010). Symptoms are worse lately.

One of my children has had bronchitis and is asthmatic, so we've been going through a lot health wise the entire summer.

I wouldn't waste money on further testing. The few tests that exist are fallible and no tests exist for a large number of the various strains of Lyme and its coinfections.

Lyme and its coinfections are clinical diagnoses - based upon symptoms.
