Constant post nasal drip indicative of what bug?

I've been lab tested for Lyme/Babesia wondering which one may be causing the post nasal drip? My doctor is going to add some new regimen since i'm regressing on just ABAB/ABART. So far he's attacked both but it might be time to go after one or the other first. Thx.

Chronic sinus symptoms (post-nasal drip, etc.) may also be caused by fungal infection in the sinuses. Not many regular doctors are aware of this issue.

If you can, try a netti pot with sterile saline solution to help rinse out allergens and mold spores from your sinuses before they have a chance to stick and create more inflammation and problems.

Some find it helpful to add a tiny bit of grapefruit seed extract to the saline used in the netti pot, since that seems to kill many problematic things in the sinuses.

Make sure you noted that Razzle said "sterile" saline solution. Do not use tap water. Distilled is okay.

If you use plain table salt the iodine might sting if it has it in it. A tad of baking soda will help with that. But the best salt would be a natural salt with the good minerals in it and no addition of iodine.

I found that my post nasal drip was due mainly to Babesia, although I agree that mold could play a very large part in it!

my post nasal drip is definitely correlated with the other symptoms. the question is lyme or babesia? sounds like at least traveler believes its from babesia i'm inclined to think that as well.

It's really not a matter of what I believe. Mine was from Babesia, although others can have this due to mold or even mycoplasma I believe.

I believe my nasal issues might be a combination of Babesia and fungal (yeast or mold) issues. Mine responds to Artemisinin. Nystatin also helps me. Some of Buhner's herbs help with congestion issues (Bidens Pilosa off the top of my head).

I also have a saline kit with liquid Grapefruit Seed Extract, which I plan to start soon. My doc told me to start slowly.
