Ashwagandha, Melatonin, Chelated Magnesium.
I usually take 200mg chelated magnesium 2h before bed, then Ashwaghanda just before falling asleep.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23853635Ashwaghanda lowers cortisol, which is one of the main hormones that can wake you up in the middle of the night (around 2-3am there is a cortisol spike).
This effect of the herb is quite well documented
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23439798Melatonin is very useful for helping you fall asleep, but i know it should not be used for extensive periods of time. Melatonin is also a precursor of glutathione in the brain, so if you have a bad brain herx, it should help
