Hi everyone hope all is well...... starting to feel very down about ever feeling better I an on clindamycine,bactrim,diflucan and my llmd just added plaquenil 2 weeks ago not up to full dose yet going slow and I feel shaky, stomach upset, no motivation. Shouldn't I be feeling a little better my now? October will be 6 months I had band 23 ad 41 iGg only this is Lyme right? Just don't understand why I still feel so anxious never feel relaxed.....wake up shaky any suggestions or uplifting information because this seems never ending nightmare!!!!

Take a VERY good probiotic. I have said it before, but here goes. . . when I was on antibiotics soda crackers were my best friend. I could not have made it without them. You don't have to eat a whole box, but you might be amazed how just a couple of crackers with the meds will be easier on your tummy.

I am taking florester with pb8 probiotic 2 florester a day and 4 pb8 per day maybe I need to pick up some crackers I was trying to avoid Ginger ale because of the sugar....thanks happy Joe I know my Dr takes my blood to check my liver and I need to make an eye Dr appointment just so sick of feeling sick not to many people on clindamycine did you have success with it?.....

catchscooter i've been exactly where you are. i was 'stricken' over a year ago and when i stop taking my meds i regress quickly to where i first got sick. it can be frustrating and downright depressing. i don't have any magic words for you but what i can say is cherish the days you feel good and take them one day at a time. constantly focus on the fact that you are being actively treated and that means you are trying to move forward not backwards. continue to educate yourself and take care of your body. the more we make our bodies inhospitable the less likely the bugs can thrive.

this forum is a great place to share and vent we've all done it.

in terms of a probiotic the florastor is a good one. if you really want to pack a punch (and have the $) try VSL #3. it's got 240 billion organisms per refrigerated packet. i've been on this for a while and my gut is fine.

That is a powerful regimen. You should be very proud of yourself for hanging in there and slaying all those bugs! Keep fighting. You can do this.

It's the bugs. You're having psychological herxes. I know it's tough, but you're gonna beat this. So, hang in there!

You're not crazy! These bugs do crazy things "to" us.

Catchscooter - When I'm herxing - I cry too. (Which seems to be just about everyday lately)

I actually feel worse if I hold it in - so I don't even try.
