3 weeks into new regimen...thoughts on next steps?

I switched 3 weeks ago from Cefdinir/Tinidazole M,W,F to Zithromax/Tinidazole M,T,W,Th and Alinia F,Sa,Su due to Cefdinir causing a hoarse/sore throat and groin pain plus its effectiveness started waning after taking it for 3 months.

For the Alinia during 1st round I felt hot/flushed (and not well) for the 3 days. Second round felt the same but only half the time and third round only the first pill so I feel like its ran its effectiveness for my Babesia. about a week later my chest pressure started up again. This has been gone ever since I started treatment but now is a permanent thing. Today its been the worst and it's on the day that my flare-up's would occur every week.

So with that said, I think I either need to enhance the current regimen or switch to something else. I was thinking maybe asking about Planequil so I'm taking some anti-malarial? And/or maybe try a Tetracycline instead of a macrolide? I definitely want to stay on the Tinidazole as I feel that's helping.

We believe the babesia is causing most if not all of my symptoms given what medicines I've responded to and the flare up lifecycle.

Already tried Zithro/Mepron for many months and it had little effect.

We used to think I had Bartonella because of the chronic sore throat but now we're pretty sure it was a reaction to the Cefdinir.

I'll talk to him about the tetracyclines. Thx.
