Hey everybody, thought I would check i....I haven't been on in a while. I've been on doxy for almost 2 months now.... Pretty sure I had a significant herx at week 3...EVERYTHING on me hurt! Anyway I carried on. I've had a few days here and there where I was pretty painful,( more so than usual) and a few wherevthe fatigue was pretty bad but other than that not a lot of changes. I tried to add in some vitamins and herbs that were Recommended but I find theyvseem to give me terrible heartburn. So far my GI SYSTEM has held up with the doxy and no issues. I will be following up with the Dr on Monday. At the last visit we discussed possibly starting iv rocephin. I would like to hear about any experiences and tips from anyone that did iv rocephin. Also I know that usually multiple antibiotics are used together to treat, did anyone take additional abx by mouth while on iv rocephin. Appreciate any feedback!

I had the same 3 week herx on Doxy, then one good week, then one bad. I'm 6 weeks in and a lot of things have improved, such as no more sharp pain in my gut, dry mouth, heart palps and racing pulse. I'm also slowly feeling like I have more strength in my muscles and the fascia isn't so crunchy and brittle. However, my nerve pain and internal vibrating seems to be getting worse, especially on rainy days. I am left handed and it doesn't want to type. I am now also on DesBios series therapy and just took dose 2 yesterday. it says on the box, you feel worse between doses 2 & 4, so I'm hoping this nerve thing is from that.

My doc says he does the Doxy for 3 months then switches to DesBios for however long it takes. I know a person cured by my doc, so I am hoping it will work for me too. Good luck!

Hi Kim, I wanted to let you know that the only thing I changed was the title. I added in that you had questions about IV Rocephin, so that those with that knowledge would know to look at this thread for you.

Otherwise, I'm only here to say congratulations on your progress at this point!!

Thanks for the response. And looking out for me., traveler. I'm hoping I start seeing some improvement. Really overall I think I feel a little worse
