I have that mostly along my hair line on back and sides of neck. I also had what was diagnosed as Rosacea subtype 2 (tiny pimply pustules) on my cheeks about 4 years ago. Yes, they would pop. Looking back this was probably my first symptom. I tried all the regular topical meds but the only thing that ended up working was minocycline for about a month or so. When I recently was on Doxy my hairline cleared up as well. I do know rosacea and acne may be linked to mites and I believe if your immune system is low they can take over more than usual. I use a sea buckthorn soap (Sibu), lotion and the oil mixed with my regular body lotion and it helps some. Sea buckthorn oil is supposed to kill demodex mites. You may want to try the face soap - I actually like it a lot.
Sorry though, I am not sure if it's related to Bart (although I suspect I could have it) or if it's Lyme or just a immune system thing.
