Hi Kim - you can always feel free to email me with any questions about
what I did. I get so busy with trying to help others at times that I don't always make it to the forum on a daily basis any more. Sorry all!!!
As for the Chronic Tonic - if you tincture the herbs, it will change how it words in a way. That's why my doc had me make it differently than what Misty Meadows sells. She thought it would be more effective as a medicinal tea, rather than a tonic. She was not only a Master Western Herbalist, but a Master Chinese Herbalist, so I learned to trust her (even if it did take me months! LOL!).
I'm NOT saying that Misty Meadows version won't work, it's just not the same as what I used, even though the same herbs (at the time) were being used.
and I will warn you that the oregano is kind of overpowering in the tea, but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't convince myself that to drink it 4 times a day for a year - especially when it worked! I realized that if it was going to make me heal, then I would drink most anything!
The overlap of herbs used in both the CT & Buhner's is what had me have confidence in Buhner's protocol to begin with. The CT seems to have just added in some of the supportive herbs that Buhner only suggests. It's like he separated the core protocol from the supportive herbs, whereas the CT combines them to begin with.
Thanks for the heads up about
Misty Meadows changing things around again. Makes me wonder if they don't like the free advertising they get by me and others that try to link to it!
