Just got my results back from Igenex

Hello All,

It been almost 3 years with me dealing with chronic symptoms and doing process of elimination with tests to figure out what is wrong with me.  Anyways I broke down and paid for some testing with Igenex.  My appointment with the lyme doc isn't unitl the beginning of Dec and thought maybe this forum could help me understand what I got back. 

Igm Western Blot

    18 kDa. +

**23-25 kDa -

      28 kDa. -

      30 kDa. -

  **31 kDa. ++

  **34 kDa. IND

  **39 kDa. IND

  **41 kDa. ++

      45 kDa. -

      58 kDa. +

      66 kDa. +

**83-93 kDa. IND

 

 

 

LFA results = 80

Hi Burbs - Welcome to our community!

Those test results -You had several IND and + on significant bands to indicate LD - the IND means a reaction - just not strong enough to "call" a + by their standards.

If you take these results and along with symptoms of LD, a LLMD will diagnose you with LD.

I don't know if that is good news for you - for me I cried tears of happiness when I finally got my diagnosis....Finally an answer to over a year of debilitating symptoms.

While you wait for your appointment you can use that time to educate yourself about Lyme Disease.
Take a look at the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?...Start a Here! It's full of good information - including info on probiotics, detoxing ideas.. And much more.

I just wanted to say welcome to the forum, and second what Girlie said. I hope that you find support and good info here to help you.

For sure I would personally be starting a detox routine before you see your lyme doctor as this will be beneficial to you before and especially during treatment.

You may also want to look into the herbal protocols that will help you support your body and immune system too.
