Hey, welcome to the forum! Though, sadly, it's due to unfortunate circumstances. All the same, welcome.
First of all, while all of this may be a bit overwhelming, if good health is truly what you're looking for, whether for yourself or a loved one of some sort, you're gonna want to look the "New to Lyme" thread over..
Here:
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=1606610Now, as for the chest pain, yes, this is a symptom some deal with, whether due to Lyme and/or possible coinfections.
Detoxification of the toxins that the infections create could help, which is something you could get started on now, but what you're really needing is a combination of both that and the eradication of those infections, either with herbals or antibiotics.
That said, whoever you're here for, they're going to need to be looking to get into treatment.
Some here treat on their own, mostly with herbals, other forms of alternative medicine, but, if it's something you think you might be able to afford, I'd highly recommend that you try to get in to see a Lyme literate physician (MD or ND, your choice), as this stuff can be a real pain to try and tackle all by yourself.
Here:
ilads.org/ilads_media/physician-referral/If/when you find one that you feel you might be interested in seeing, you could try seeing if anyone's got some feedback on them by making another thread here. Please, do not include their full names or any other specific information though, just say something like, "Dr. P in Ohio."
Also, keep in mind that insurance MAY cover some of the costs. Though, that's the less likely of cases, but I have heard of some who've gotten a little help.
Again, I know this can be a lot to throw at ya. I feel that way, whenever I see some of the response the new members get when they make their first posts. I wish it could be a little easier to swallow, but that's Lyme for you. It ain't easy, sorry.
Anyway, please, stick around. You're gonna want some of our input, as you go about
your healing journey. Really, even if you do end up seeing a doctor, and they're good, even exceptional, you're still gonna want the feedback of people walking a similar path.
Sorry, if I couldn't be of more help. Others should be along to cover what I may have missed sooner or later. It's Thanksgiving though, so might wanna give them a bit of time.
"Happy" holidays, right? Try to enjoy what you can.
