IV next week....maybe?

I am scheduled to get my picc line installed on Monday. I received a phone call today to advise me that Georgia requires the order for home health nurse to come from DR in the state. I went to a PCP yesterday that questioned my treatment, never heard of Ceftin and Tinadazole for Lyme and referred me to the same infectious disease group that said I was not positive enough for them and a neurologist.

He was not open to LLMD conversation, he was board certified just like LLMD. I told him yes, guess I am just the dumba%$ with the headache and numbness since June.

Anyhow, just looking to find a way around the state requirement, maybe self pay? Has anyone in Georgia been through this as well?

Is it a state requirement or a health insurance requirement? I've never heard of a state requirement like that.

I talked to a home health service about hiring them directly, they say it is a state requirement, could not help without GA physician order.
