PICC line and Rocephin

Hello all,
It has been a while since my last post. (Bad Me.)
I have been up and down, doing a combination of oral and natural antibiotics.
I was actually doing just ok back in August. Started riding my bike again.
Probably pushing it too hard though, and I fell backwards hard.......

So last week I received my PICC line and started Rocephin on Wednesday.
Just wondering how your experiences are/were on Rocephin?
Today I will administer my 5th infusion. I have had some wicked Herxes since I started.
Last night my stomach was very blotted with abdominal pain, causing chest pains.
Very scary at times.
So has anyone taking Rocephin experienced abdominal pain and blotting?
These pains seem to coincide with Herxes also.

I think you know that the first thing anyone here will ask is: Are you detoxing enough?

Maybe just another step in detoxing will help.

Hello,
of course you have to take probiotic, liver support and something for the gallbladder-to avoid forming stones.
And of course it can be a sign of a herx, beeing that you detoxify trought your liver and gallbladder.
How much are you taking?4 g?
I wish you all the best with it, good progress with your health under iv Abx.

I was on Rocephin for a month but had in the newer Medline instead of the PICC, since they only planned on giving it to me for 4 weeks, which is the longest you're supposed to keep a Medline for.

Unfortunately I can't confirm the stomach problems you're having with my experiences. However, I do tend to tolerate antibiotics fairly well in general, such as taking doxy on an empty stomach and all that. I can attest to having a reaction to Rocephin though in other ways. The first two treatments I didn't notice anything, but the next three or four, I would get a migraine headache about a half hour or so after the treatment. After those first few treatments, the migraine stopped happening. Looking back, I think I can attest that to a Herx reaction. I think that if it was some kind of allergy to the Rocephin, the reaction would continue after each treatment, and possibly even get worse.

Probably not the most helpful response, but perhaps it helps shed some light for ya.

Yupp detoxing is king!
I am doing several things, coffee enema's daily. twice a day on weekends, very affective for me.
Lots of lemon water, Epsom salt baths. I was using a binder (Dr Morse's GI broom),
I actually think that was too much, so I stopped that. Maybe now that I may be killing more bugs I can try starting that up again.
Finisului17, my daily does is 2g/100 ml.
I do feel fortunate, surprisingly my insurance company is paying 100 percent for the IV.
Well at least for the first 10 weeks.
