Buhnar's tinctures. How to start making my own tincatures

What would you say is the best herb/s to start with to try make my own to tincatures?

I would agree with Mister Mike. Just choose one herb and start. If you have good instructions, then once you feel a bit more confident, you can go ahead and use the other herbs and make your tinctures. It always seems a little scary at first, but it's actually pretty simple to make tinctures - depending on what method you are using and if you have really good instructions. I know Buhner has instructions on how to make tinctures near the back of his Herbal Abx book.

For J.K. do I buy the whole herb or the cut up herb..
I am really new to making my own herbs.
Kinda lost... not feeling well and my brain is literally hurting.
