LDN

Yes, some people have had good results with the LDN - unfortunately I wasn't one of them.

Within a week of starting it, I started to have pain at night - I had not had that before.
I stayed on it for a while, increased the dose, but it didn't help.
So I discontinued...maybe I should have stuck it out, but I sort of panicked. I can't remember how long exactly I stayed on it - it was weeks - maybe 4 or 5?
I did read about someone who didn't get improvement until 8 weeks.

I have not heard of anyone else's having the reaction I had...so don't let my experience alone sway you.
It could very well just be a coincidence in my case.

LLMD Ken Singleton describes writing LDN prescriptions for his patients in "The Lyme Disease Solution".

Because of this, I asked my LLMD to prescribe LDN for me. He'd done so for one of his MS patients and also a fibro patient. He said it didn't help them.

Still, I know our moderator Marie uses LDN and she raved about it helping with her pain.

Hit or miss as is many things related to these infections. What works for some doesn't work for others.
