Well, I have healed from the tick-borne infections. I've never had the symptoms of Yersinia, so I've never been tested - besides, first I'd have to find a doctor that would be willing to test me for it!
I know that one of our Mods, who's out sick right now, is dealing with not only these tick-borne infections, but also a terribly stubborn Yersinia infection. It's MarieLS and she posted in the thread that Celeste shared above.
As I said, I've not had it, but it seems to me that just like with Lyme, time and patience is required to heal from Yersinia. It doesn't respond to just any protocol, and you and your doc may have to do some experimenting to find a protocol that will work for you.
I know what you mean about
thinking you were at the end of a long health struggle - only to find out that you aren't done yet! Treatment fatigue anyone??? I treated for the tick-borne infections, healed and then a year later I had severe adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism to now treat.
I don't know of any health forums just for Yersinia, but you can do either a whole site search or just search a specific forum with our search function up above. To stay within a certain forum, just be sure to put that word first - for instance, if it's the Lyme forum you wish to search, you would type Lyme, yersinia.
I did a site-wide search for you (using Google though), you can see it here:
/goo.gl/9R7RA2And here is the first post (I believe) that our Mod, MarieLS, made for Yersinia. It has some information in it that may be helpful to you:
