I've posted around concerning my heart issues as well. Rapid/Pounding heart, especially after eating heavy meals, waking up in the morning, etc... Same story as many with Lymes, I tested positive (twice actually) and the heart issues came about the same time being infected and beginning treatment. Nothing is physically wrong with my heart other than some minor valve regurgitation. I had one doctor literally tell me "Looks like you'd be a good case for Dr. House". Haha, I didn't think it was very funny.
One piece I can tell people with Lyme related heart issues, is often times heavy detoxing helps. Do anything you can to help your heart out. Eat anti-inflame foods like dark chocolate (not good for sugar though) and fruits, especially pineapple, onions, garlic, etc...I also drink TONS of water. Still, there are some days I still can't get my heart rate down. Also, stay away from heavy meals, especially high in carbs, it's not only bad for Lymies, it's hard on your heart when your body is trying to digest a lot of food at once.
