Ya I got that. It's bartonella in my case. What happens is bartonella causes swelling of the endothelial cells that line the cardiovascular system. And it actually gets somewhat worse when treating, and takes a long time to get better but does very slowly.
Lyme does the migrating pain. Bartonella is more steady and constant, and also more symmetrical in nature, but may be unilateral. ORRR... It could actually be related to the cytokine storm. Are your joints physically swelling? I know that case it is actually lyme that causes actual swelling of the joints, bart doesn't cause swelling of the joints, but can cause pain, stiffness, burning, aching, etc.
Have you been diagnosed with bartonella?
Hey LymePickle. I do not have any swelling anywhere. It's interesting that you mention Bartonella, because I read last night that it's common to have shin pain with it. My pain is mostly in both arms, and the bottom of both shins.
I do not have any official diagnosis. I'm mostly negative for IgM and positive for bands 18, 41, 31, on IgG as well as IND for band 34 on IgG. My LLND says I'm in a "grey area" and all this says is I've had past exposure to Lyme, if my epitope test comes back positive.
How would I go about
testing for Bart? Do you mind if I ask how much you have healed?
