I know I've posted about
this a while ago...here's a quick, quick background...
I dislocated my right shoulder several times in college, being stupid mostly. I went for some Physical Therapy and resumed weight lifting for years. Fast forward like 8 years later, I had surgery on my left shoulder, since 8 months of PT was not helping the pain and mobility issues. BELIEVE ME, I wish SO badly I never hurt both shoulders...I mean who the hell has two shoulder problems at age 30??! I had surgery back in 2013, did 6-8 months of PT, the PT place I went to did not care for me properly nor did I follow the program 100%...it is still weak, inflammed and messed up. I am back in PT now and have been for like 6-8 months, bouncing from place to place but I finally found a good PT. My question is...do I need surgery once my lyme has calmed down, to fix the damage? Do you all think rehab and time with healing will be able to restore full strength and functioning? This all comes down to me being able to lift and go to the gym 100% again and do the exercises I want to do.
