Adrenal testing?

Lyme can reek havock with your adrenals amongst other things. It would certainly not be a bad idea to have them checked out.

I did the spit in a test tube four times in a day one....there is a more technical term but that's the description, lol. That way you can see where your problems may or may not be in a day, eg too low on a morning....too high at night...etc etc.

There are a few private companies who do this if you cannot get it done through your doctor. I had to get mine done this way. It wasn't overly expensive, easy to do and most importantly could highlight an area that needs addressing as part of your healing.

Just FYI my adrenals were right at the upper end of the normal range but my BP is and always has been really low. My mother has also always had low BP so I guess I just take after her. While the two, adrenal function and BP, could be connected it's not necessarily the case.

Either way I would get them checked if you can.

Sarah...I've been contemplating getting mine done, too for a long time..I really should - even if it's just for peace of mind.

As someone that now lives with severe adrenal fatigue, I encourage anyone that seems to have symptoms of adrenal fatigue to get tested with a 3 or 4 time a day collection of saliva. Adrenal fatigue can slow or stop healing from anything, especially Lyme and company. Saliva testing is the most accurate means of testing the adrenals.
