I've been sick with Lyme and unknown co-infections since Oct 2014. I read a lot about
people having problems with their lymph nodes and I never did until now! Last night I had a severe chest issue and it radiated down my arms where I thought I was having a heart attack. Well I'm not (which is good) but I feel this uncomfortable feeling under both my arm pits which I can only prescribe as being my lymph nodes.
How does one reduce this uncomfortable feeling? Thanks.

Rikky - I have a troublesome clavicle lymph node. I didn't even know what that tender lump was until I had my first appt. with my LLND.
I try to help it by moving the lymph system. I take my hands on both side of my neck and lightly rub downward and across the area where the clavicle lymph node is. I do not press the lymph node...or rub it hard....just try to get things 'moving'.
There was a website that showed how to do a complete lymph massage - for lymphs in the head/neck area...I don't know if I can find it....
It was posted on a thread over a year ago..

I deal with swollen lymph nodes on and off throughout my abx treatment - quite annoying to say the least.
Swollen lymph nodes is a sign of toxin back-up.
Red root tincture is great for clearing lymph nodes.
Dry skin brushing helps a lot as does a cold rinse at the end of the shower/bath. Exercise is another way to get lymph fluid moving.
And, you could do self lymph massages....many are available on YouTube.

I suffer with swollen lymph nodes and Red Root is my go to. I also walk and swing my arms (very animatedly) and that is suppose to get things moving. Our lymph system has no pump and we have to give it a boost when it clogs up.
Girlie mentioned a long time ago a rebounder and I still want to get one of those. I am a Tigger at heart and love to bounce.

Thanks everyone. My blood pressure was a higher than normal on both the upper and lower numbers which is odd. My LLMD wants to talk to me more at length tomorrow but he said for now to stop the Rifampin/Cipro until tomorrow. My blood pressure wasn't really the issue it was the nasty herx and the tingly/numbness feeling in my arms which I attributed to low blood pressure initially but that wasn't the case it was referred pain per the cardiologist.

Ive been dealing with sore lymph nodes also. My new ND just gave me a tincture to aid in lymph drainage. Its from Germany. I hope it works. Its mostly herbal.
