Hey all,

Has anyone tried hyperthermia treatments? I know that there's a few different clinics and options regarding the intensity of the treatments, so I'm curious to hear any feedback if you've tried any of them.

I've been having a lot of progress healing my gut (strict dieting + elimination diet + paleo). My gut issues made it impossible for me to take antibiotics for YEARS, but now I've been on them for awhile and may be running out of options here shortly (my gut is still a bit sensitive to some thing). I've also tried most herbal protocols, and the rife; so I'm looking at other options.

I'm currently considering St. Georg Klinik in Germany. But I've also heard of one in Switzlerland and another in Austria that uses less extreme temperatures.

Any input is appreciated.

If I want to be in pain, all I have to do is take a HOT shower. All my life I have taken hot showers. Between my 2 sisters and I my Dad put a timer on our shower as teenagers because we would drain our 2 - 75 gallon hot water tanks.

Then I got lyme along came horrible head pain. It lasted for months. Last summer I found that swimming in a cold lake - my head pain went away. I went swimming in that lake as often as I could last year. Last week we had a cold front come through and I was miserable and my head pain was back. Now I am wondering if it wasn't because the outside temp was in the 20's and I was taking hot showers?

For me?? No way would I do a sauna, hot tub, hot bath or hot shower. My body does not like it. So test the waters first to see if you can handle the hot.

Have you tried an infrared sauna? It would be cheaper in the long run. It may not be as hot as the therapies you're considering, though. How is your heat tolerance?

Heat sinks me fast due to my low thyroid and I also don't perspire very much either, which is also my thyroid.
