CD- at least you gave it a try. Erratic/constant need for thyroid med adjustment does not sound like fun to me either. That one other reason I have not tried it yet.
Girlie- I dont seem to have the nerve pain in the form of electric shocks, or consonant burning feel that I did years ago. But, I think my remaining muscle tightness and cramps are partially from nerve impingement- from all the adhesion's and scar tissue which seem to be the result of "sticky muscles", from how years of lyme changes the muscle chemistry, ATP, and nutrient flow ect. My muscles can relax now. If get tight, I can loosen them easier than before.
gkamom- The Jarrow D-limonine back label says it "stimulates the liver phase I and II detoxifying enzyme sytem". I have not looked into how. I do feel less toxic on it and sleep better when I take it. The liver is confusing, and tied directly to overall health. Unfortunately , I have both phase I and II gene mutations as well as high bilirubin (Gibalters syndrome) and its accompanying related gene mutations as well. The Dr joked and mentioned dont become an alcoholic, as I dont have the liver for it- I'd die.
I'm guessing the Drs on the MTHFR support site are ones that attended their seminars. Guess it doesnt gaurentee good character. The doc I see is great. Some LLMDs are nuts too. Its a crap shot. I take d-limonine before bed, minimal citrus burbs. If I take it in the day while moving around, this happened a little for the first half hour. I used to burp acid up to my teeth in my gerd - reflux days, so a little citrus does not bother me, no harm either, it does nothing to you. Now fish burps from fish oil is absolutely discussing, safe but very gross IMO..........LOl........! Lastly, I never tried LDN yet.
