What exactly does Alka Seltzer Gold do to Detox?

I finally got some Alka Seltzer Gold and now am wondering why it is helpful for Detox or what it is supposed to do.

So I wondered if anyone knew what mechanism is.

I read that it helps change our system from acidic to alkaline.

Maybe there are more reasons...not sure

According to the tired of lyme site it should be taken with Glutathione to ward off a herx.

yes girlie hit it right, it put your body in a more alkaline state. i took it twice a day during my entire lyme treatment.
