Massive symptoms/rapid worsening, help!

Hornet599 are you on any treatment? I ask because diarrhea and constipation both can be caused by herbs or antibiotics.

Possibly you had raw food or contaminated food but with lyme you never know. Lyme can have a circus of symptoms and it is so hard to say what is what.

First remind me of what you are taking and how much and for how long.

Second, your symptoms sound miserable.

Have you treated parasites?

this sounds to me like a Bartonella flare. If u stopped the antibiotics this can come back pretty quickly. Esp the skin burning is quite common with Bart. Air hunger can be from Bart too, if your heart is affected, not necessarily Babesia.

Or it can be a Babesia flare, you know that when they reproduce they rupture your red blood cells and u get serious symptoms. Especially that u stopped taking artemisia beforehand. Also just artemisia for babesia, depending on how bad your infection is, might not be enough, you need sida acuta to protect your red blood cells and other herbs. Not sure how good Cowden is on treating babesia, im having some doubts it's too good based on the herbs they are using. I'd say Buhner has a more serious approach to it.

Not sure about the night episode, adrenal issues i guess. Cortisol spikes can wake u in the night if too powerful. You should try ashwagandha before bed, it really helped me with sleep and energy when i was pretty miserable. It lowers cortisol levels and helps adrenals function properly.

Also you could check your blood glucose, i think it's a good idea to have a glucose check around. Also try eating something before going to bed like a banana or two, to prevent a hypoglycemic episode.

L-tryptophan (500–1,000 mg) or 5-HTP (50–100 mg) before bedtime can help with serotonin levels and ensure a better sleep.
