Hello, oh learned ones
I'm hoping someone could help me. We received a rightup from my son's most recent bloodwork where it noted anomalies of B6 at 222.5 and CoQ10 at 0.51. It doesn't have reference range info for either but by looking around the internet (?) it seems like the B6 is extremely high (perhaps 10x) and CoQ10 is perhaps low (at a quarter of what it perhaps should be).
I know this isn't much info. Could anyone assist with this scant info? Unfortunately I wasn't given the original lab results, which would have more on them.
I looked within this forum and have a sense that the B6 may be due to MTHFR detox deficiencies - he has a deficiency in the C677T which someone mentioned as a possible issue...but not in the A1298C (mentioned by one poster, in relation to her B6 toxicity). His other MTHFR reds are VDR Bsm, BHMT-08, and CBS C699T (and he's yellow on five others). Anything I should be looking at or doing? ("Neuro" challenges are significant for my son) He isn't getting any B6 in any supplements; he was script
ed to take 5-MTHF so has been taking that since September.
And, I really know nothing about
CoQ10 except it has value to heart function.
My son is currently finishing week 1 of 2 in his sixth round of antibiotics, targeting babesia at the moment.
Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.
