I'm sorry but I found the need to delete your original thread since I was unable to fully edit it as needed. Hope you don't mind that I started this one on your behalf.

While I greatly appreciate the fact that you did not indicate Dr. M's full name in your thread, we also need to protect the name of the place she works.

Chapelle and Sarah on here see Dr. M. You might want to keep bumping this thread until they come to the forum.

I saw Dr. M. a couple of times plus two phone consult follow-ups that she initiated--LOVED that. I also loved her thoroughness in asking for all my records & any treatment updates from other doctors, plus her kind demeanor. She couldn't help me the way I wanted because I was pregnant & she couldn't legally override my OB's orders to not prescribe antibiotics to protect my baby during pregnancy--otherwise Dr. M. would have worked with me in that way.

She was able to direct me to other doctors and treatments within her practice which, I believe, ultimately led to my healing (along with changing my diet, detoxing, doing my own research, still seeing my original LLMD, etc). If I ever have a relapse, heaven forbid, I will definitely return to Dr. M. Hope your appointment goes great, lymehater!!

She is ILADS trained and knows how to treat Lyme. I also find her very kind and understanding. Not sure what else you want to know.

If I recall correctly, don't you live somewhere else, not NY? Were you unable to find a dr close to you?

I love her - I would not healed or gotten this far without her. She is very experienced as well as compassionate. I cannot say enough good things about her. I am overdue to email her an update of my progress against Candida - I am overdue here as well!! Just can't escape the busy-ness of life!!!

mauihawaii - i have seen you on here, but didn't realize we saw the same doctor! so you went for magnetic therapy too? I did that a few times, and plan to do it again in May. Congrats on your success story!

Thanks everyone for the responses.

I commute between MD and NY. Long story. No, I'm not rich at all. This disease has robbed me dry of any savings. I just would like to know which doctor has the better recommendations so I don't waste more money. I really appreciate everyone's advice.
I will keep the Dr. M appt, the receptionst made a mistake and canceled my appt now I have to wait another two weeks to see her. grrrrrr...
