I have varying foot pains. I first felt as though I had a piece of glass in my foot and my ND figured I had Bartonella because of that. Since then, I have had extreme sensitivities to shoes and can only wear good, supportive (read ugly) shoes if I'm doing any walking at all. My toe nails are very sensitive and sore, I have migrating pains and aches in my feet, feel as though I'm walking on broken bones, extremely HOT feet and then lately, itching on the bottoms of my feet so badly that I'm seriously considering purchasing a BBQ grill brush to scratch them! In the mornings I also wake up and can barely walk as my feet, along with other body parts, are so sore I feel as though someone had beaten them with a stick! Stupid Bart!
If I spend too much time on my feet, even in my ugly shoes, I pay for it for days. Lately, I've noticed a purplish tinge to my skin on my feet on and off and it doesn't really have anything to do with anything I can think of.
TORF mud baths and soaking my feet in epsome/hydrogen peroxide really helps. I alternate between the therapies.
I've always had sensitive feet my whole life, so I'm not at all surprised that the Bart settled mainly in my piggies to tell you the truth.
Hope that helps!
