I had these symptoms as many more ear-related ones for quite a long time before I began trying to treat. It's terrible, I know.
Fluid, pressure, feeling like they're plugged up disturbances in hearing. Aches, pains, inflammation. Tinnitus.
I believe mine were caused by a combination of slight TMJ, Eustachian tube dysfunction, and just general effects that my infections were having on that particular area of the body (inflammation, nerve damage, et cetera).
It could be both fluid AND air, if it's Eustachian tube dysfunction.
These things were self-diagnosed. TMJ is rather easy, as you're gonna know if you're affected. What lead me to the ETD diagnosis is when I was waiting outside for someone to pick me up on a rather windy day and noticed that it was as if tons of air went into my ears as I took a breath.
I am still affected by these things (the tinnitus, pressure sometimes, and my jaw still has problems if I talk too much or something), just not as much. I won't attribute it all to treatment, as I feel part of it is just that the infections decided to move elsewhere after they'd had their fill of attacking my ears, but I did notice improvements after beginning to treat. In fact, these are some of the few improvements that have stuck.
Now, if only the other symptoms would go too.
Anyway, I am sorry that I cannot offer any possible solutions, apart from just the usual "treatment." I don't know. Like I said, mine kind of just died down due to Lyme/co transitioning and a little help from treatment.
Best wishes.
edit: I just want to mention that I am only referring to the pressure/fluid sensations as they relate to the ears. What you guys are feeling elsewhere, in places like the sinuses, brain, and whatnot, those could all be caused by a number of things - sinus infections, inflammation in the brain, etc. I am really not equipped to list them all.
I do not mean to scare anyone, but it is what it is sometimes, you know?
