anybody try homeopahic Lyme treatments?

After testing positive for Lymes twice, going on heavy ABX and remission, then relapsing with the EXACT same symptoms, my infectious disease doctor (notoriously bad for treating Lymes patients) told me I don't have Lyme...grrr...

The first place I turned to was a homeopathic doctor. The homeopathic "medicine" didn't do squat. The whole idea of frequencies being imprinted on water also sounds pretty bogus to me. I'm not saying it hasn't worked for anyone, but I have yet heard of a case of someone treating Lyme successfully with homeopathic treatments alone.

This is only my opinion of the "medicine" of course, and I strongly urge you to come to your own conclusions on the mater.

Fortunately for me, this homeopathic doctor also treats with herbs, which seem to work quite well for me. She used the Des Bio brand stuff.

Frequencies being printed on water sounds like BS to me, sorry. I just don't believe in that...

But actual homeopathic products, like DesBio, seem to work well for a lot of people.

If homeopathy is used correctly, it can do a lot, speaking from experience when I was so sick about 30 years ago, maybe Lyme, but I was much worse than I am now and I don't think I'd be around now if I hadn't used it. Good classical homeopaths will choose a remedy based on the totality of your symptoms, not just a symptom or 2. My homeopath told me I had nowhere to go but up back then, since I was so sick. Normally, a person will get worse to start with.

I take Boiron brand, most of which are single remedies dispensed on sugar pills. Many classical homeopaths use that brand.

I'd be using it now if I could find a good homeopath. They're in short supply. There's one in the Seattle area that works on people all over the world, using skype, but she has a different way of prescribing that I don't understand fully. My husband and his sister use her with good results. She and I had a personality clash, but I may go back to her to speed up our recovery. Her husband is another option, but I haven't met him. Medical docs wouldn't take me seriously when I went to went to them for help. They just said I was depressed and needed to do something with my life. Sound familiar? I had nothing to lose by choosing homeopathy. I took a class on it first since I was skeptical. It was my first time using alternative medicine.

So it can do a lot, but with Lyme, there would likely be some issues that require a different treatment. I often wish I had a video of my treatment back then. I was pretty sick and my first remedy helped so much. It took 5 or so remedies to bring me back to health. I was so sick, in bed or on the couch every day, fighting a yeast infection that would not go away with medical treatments, chronic bladder infections that kept returning in spite of ABX, and frequent headaches. I decided to give it a try when another bladder infection came on, not expecting much. It was gone the next day and I haven't had one since. I improved so much after 2 months of treatments and continued to get better as time went on. I think that's why I haven't been really bad off from Lyme now. I was doing pretty well when I was diagnosed. I'm still not horribly bad, even after going through a lot of stress.

I just started using essential oils for now. I didn't expect much, but it sure helped bring me out of a decline I experienced recently. It helped with some headaches I recently had too. It's not compatible with homeopathy, though, so I won't use it if I go to a homeopath. You have to be careful about using it with pets around too, especially cats.

There are a couple of toothpaste made for use with homeopathy. Let me know if you want the name of them too.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't heard about the possibility of antidoting a remedy 2 years after taking it. I also haven't heard the advice about Nat. Mur. That's a remedy I've needed a couple of times. I think it might be the one that stopped my pollen allergies.

Homeopathics are the first and only "remedy" I have taken that have made a lasting difference.

Like Kate I also went to the Hansa Center. My body specifically tested well towards homeopathics more than herbs.

Just from what I've seen with some of my different doctors who use natural medicine how a remedy is used makes the difference. My ND that I've gone to for years leans towards herbs with occasional homeopathics(generally not specific remedies, name branded blends). If your body needs a specific herb for a boost with a specific function, it's going to make all the difference in the world (when all the downed systems have their boost). But if the body needs something like a homeopathic remedy to help retrain and turn on specific functions in the body, no herb or antibiotic is going to do it. I.E trying to use a needle and thread to do a hammers work.

I don't know much about imprinting, in general it sounds too good to be true...but quantum physics has some amazing technology that doesn't make sense if you aren't educated on the how's and whys.
I have a friend whose gone to a doctor whose done imprinting on remedies and had great results, but I don't think that's all they were doing.
