Was very surprised that our local bookstore carried them! I thought this is a cheaper route than working with the naturopath who gave a clinical diagnosis. I would need to buy his herbs, and pay an additional $350 for the consultations. 9 days and I'll hear what the blood work results in that the IDD ordered. I get now, she isn't the most informed, and she admitted that, and her explanations were off. I see that, and that is a good place to flow forwards with.

I bought his books and then I started reading and had like 10 bookmarks in each book for the section I wanted to re-read because I had such brain fog.

I hope you fair better than I did. I still have parts I need to re-read.

Buhner's books are one of the best investments I ever made. I think you'll be happy with your purchase, multifacetedme.

I've re-read each of them a few times.....waaayyyy too much information to absorb in one read and faggetabout Lyme brain being in the picture lol

Do you have a doctor who can order blood work for you? Stuff like liver/kidney function tests, CBC and the like? It's a good idea to get these types of tests done during treatment because these bugs can do a number on us.

CD - Over the course of the past few months I've had a bunch of blood work. The last bit when I was in the ER after a reaction to the anti-biotic I was given for a bladder infection. It had several things show up as "abnormal" which I think they attributed to the infection. My guess is, that the anti-biotic was killing spirochetes and some co-infections, and my body was herxing in reaction. I've read and re-read and read and re-read over and over what a herx is - and after this anti-biotic was integrated, it happened. It was much stronger than the herxing on the Cats Claw. The IDD ordered some blood work specific to tick borne illnesses (she didn't want to re-do the Western Blot) and I'll have those results in 8 days she said. I would't know what to look for in blood results in relation to the process of mending (yet).
