Okay, this is SO annoying - all of a sudden this year I am experiencing really bad hip pain on the right side. What is up with this ? It just will not let up. I have not done anything at all different or to aggravate my hips. I do get the random pains from Lyme, but this one is getting to be just a bit TOO annoying! Anyone having this, too?

Not, the hip, no.

But, last October, out of the blue my left knee got extremely sore...I couldn't even bend my leg..so I was walking with one stiff leg. Sleeping was difficult...it hurt like heck.
No incident, no swelling, no redness...nothing.

So, I just babied it and it slowly got better.. took a few months for the pain to completely go away.

Previous to that, I had some knee joint pain - both knees, but nothing really bad.

This happened after I had been treating bartonella for about 5 or 6 weeks. maybe a bart herx? not sure.

Did you start a new medication? or stop a medication?

HI G. yeah, I think you may have hit it on the head. You know I have been on stuff for years EVERYDAY and I just got TIRED! So, when my stuff ran out just after Christmas, well, I never really restocked anything - yeah, I hear the screaming in the background, too.... I pretty much have just taken a parasite tincture once week. do an ozone sauna every other day, take colloidal siver every day, avena to steady the nerves every AM, but I think I am beginning to crack. This past week has been terrible - old symptoms like anxiety creeping back up, pains galore, eye probs..........I am just so freaking tired of this, It is just too many years of fighting this, I am so tired.

Yup, it definitely gets 'old' real quick. I'm tired of it, too.

What have you been doing - herbals? antibiotics?

I've been fortunate to not have many incidents of pain. I'd have to check my journal for specifics but the most recent anything was more of a stabbing pain in one foot for a short while.

But, yeah, these infections can pop stuff on us any time it seems and it "just" seems to be confirmation that we're not done yet.

I'm a member of the sick of treating club but I dare not stop.....been doing it too long to have it extended any longer.

What infections do you have needhelp4? And what treatments have you done? Maybe you can find something that will slowly bring you to healing without too much "drama".

Thank You G. and CD. for your input - I appreciate it!! To make a long story short, body couldn't take/handle synthetic antibiotics so I was put on Byron White products -for over two years now- concentrating on Babesia and bartonella. I also have major mold and heavy metals in the brain as well as this stinking red rash that developed in November and doesn't seem to disappear fully - at times it is an angry red and at other times it turns pale pink - does not itch though - just looks bad ( it is on either side of my upper inner thighs and travels right into and up the crotch area - sorry TMI ). I am thinking it might be candida? I don't know. I think the ozone sauna brings the redness down, though. Also, my balance is getting worse again as are my eyes - the eyes are shaking, sparks, flashes. I see the optometrist regularly. Chemical smells and loud Sounds are affecting me this week, too. My digestive system is really bad these days as are awful joint pains and headaches. Big one for me is the anxiety - has definitely gotten worse - this past week has been really bad like the Old times. I am a hot mess all over again. Anyway, the drama certainly is starting.

I have a lot of hip pain. It's mostly due to issues that happened while I was giving birth, but we all know how much Lyme loves old injuries. It can get quite intense some days though. Sometimes heat helps and sometimes I have to lay around all day with ice, hoping to numb things deep enough down to give me a break, even if it takes all day long sometimes.

I have also found that if I will use it on my very low back (down by the hips) that can help sometimes too.

needhelp4 I think you need to get back on treatment. I think you know these are symptoms that are creeping back and I am so very sorry. I know how tiring this can get but the symptoms can get quite horrific.

Hi Traveler- Thank You for your tips!! I am so bummed today - called my LLND's office to reorder my tinctures only to be told that they no longer carry them and have no replacements at this time and that the Doc won't be in until late May. All of a sudden I broke down - I am still in tears. I now have no support whatsoever and I cannot get a hold of any of the tinctures I ran out of. I was told I need to go through someone in the States, but I don't know anyone in the States! This SO Sucks. I do not know what to do or take in the meantime. I was not offered any replacements or ideas. I asked if the secretary could e-mail her for suggestions for me and she said that the Doc hasn't been answering her texts, but that she would try. I am so bummed today and this anxiety is through the roof now.

Aww, you will get back on track. But do start drinking some lemon water today and gently detoxing other ways before you herbs get here. You can do this. Baby steps.

I know all too well this fragile. On days like that I baby myself. I treat myself like the patient I am and I cater to my every need.

Since I am a very emotional person and cry easy when I don't feel well. I put on chick flicks, get tons of blankies and pillows and kleenex and warm tea and a lemon water bottle and call it movie day. I cry and get it all over with.

I don't think they will allow you to order as they are sold to practitioners only, but it never hurts to explain your situation and ask!!

If that still doesn't help, then I would encourage you to consider using the protocols where you can get everything you need without a doctor. Cowden, Buhner, or even the Chronic Tonic might be helpful to you.

Whatever you do - DON'T give up!!! We are here and you are NOT alone in this. Those that are in this community are some of my best friends!! I find support, comfort, understanding, guidance, and so much more here thanks to them. We are here for you too. ((((((((hugs))))))))

I have weird rash like you need4 , mine does itch....this is insanity....there are other protocals herbs etc...have you rifed ? Essential oils...i found some relief with bentonite baths...

Thanks BlueLyme for sharing and for tips! Sorry you are going through it, too - it is just awful, especially in such a private kind of area. I have to say though that since writing this post - it has calmed down A LOT - almost looks normal and I think it is because I bumped up my ozone sauna treatments to everyday now as opposed to every other day and I go in it with no underpants. Also, after shower I put some colloidal silver on it and just let the whole thing air dry and if I am home I just wear a long dress or skirt with nothing underneath - even at bedtime - go commando. Oh, I also spread on a thin layer of organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil all over the rash area - after the colloidal silver dried. Well it is working - and it has just been 3 days! Whew! I really did not want to go to the Doc. for this at all. I really should have thought of being more aggressive at treating it earlier as this has been going on since November, if I am not mistaken.

PETEZA!! Thanks for stopping by!! Yeah, what a difference a few days make when you decide to take matters into your own hands and focus. I was so friggin fragile on Monday and I just did not want to fall back into that same hole I was in years ago when this Lyme had hit my whole body hard from head to toe. I knew I had to summon up strength and tell myself that this is the Lyme at work playing with my head and body again and that I need to " show them who's boss" sort of thing. So, I ditched my pity party and bumped up some things that I have come to learn that have helped me along the way - basically I have been really aggressive at it for 3 days and I feel a lot stronger mentally today than I did 3 days ago - I also try to visualize and pray a lot!! W really need to help ourselves in the end....

I know exactly what you mean. I have had so many pity parties and they do have their place. I have had cry days and they probably did nothing of benefit, but it was better than TRYING to maintain all day long. Listening to our bodies is so important. That is one of the amazing things I have found with lyme. I thought I knew my body before, but with lyme you feel every little thing. So many twinges, aches and pressure that years ago I would have just ignored. Now I freeze and examine what is happening to my body. Trying to assess what my body might need.

That's it, Peteza, you got it. Really important to listen to one's body - even when you see a doctor and they spew stuff out or they prescribe something that just doesn't sit well with your "gut" then that is our intuition speaking and we really need to pay attention, for sure. After all, we live in our own bodies 24/7 - others don't.
