I've been treated for some ten years for Lyme and chronic fatigue. I took a break last year
and have been doing rife this past month with a coach. I felt I'd reached a bit of a plateau
and wanted to take a rest. Meanwhile, I sought out a new primary care doctor to help
monitor my thyroid and blood work in general. about three weeks ago, he found some
things which concerned him in my blood work. They had to do with inflammation markers
and also immunoglobulins. I mentioned that these often show up in my labs due to Lyme.
He has seen a number of people with Lyme. I asked him. Haven't you seen similar
things with other people who have Lyme. His answer was, 'not really'. We just want to rule
out some things before we proceed.
This Thursday I have an appointment with a hemotologist. I looked on the labs and
there are all kinds of blood disorders, various cancers listed that may cause these results.
He said not to be concerned. It could be 'mold'.
A friend is going with me I have tried to keep my mind occupied However,
I am feeling anxious at the same time.
Have any of you been tested for cancers of the blood or had strange labs and
been sent to specialists?
Any of your experiences or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
