However, all the herbal gurus will tell you that their protocols are not set in stone. Just because an herb says take 1/4 to 1/2 teasp, it does not mean that you MUST arrive at 1/4. Some feel relief at less than that. And the same can be said for the high end of the dosage.
Each of us must do our own evaluation of how the herb effects us individually. There are lots of variables, weight, health history, environment, diet that all need to be considered.
There absolutely is no one size fits all protocol. There absolutely is no perfect protocol that brings us all to good health. It is a very highly individualize process that we each travel. A journey where we go by trial and error arriving to our destination.
This is really a "feeling" healing. Precision amounts are guidelines that can be helpful, but ultimately it is how do you feel and ONLY each individual can tell that.
That being said, there are many out there that may benefit immensely from your findings. I too remember counting to see how many drops were in a dropper full and finding that it depended on how much I squeezed the bulb, the barometric pressure, and all kinds of variables. I knew (being a perfectionist) that I would stress over this calculation....... a dropper is now just a dropper.
