Q: what is the concern between chronic lyme and cancer
A: don't want to put fear into people, everyone is susceptible to cancer but we're awash in toxins now. Environmental toxicity is the #1 cause of cancer... estimated to cause 3/4 of all cancers. Having chronic lyme or other illness can increase susceptibility.
Lyme disease has certain conditions that set up the body for cancer, also true of other chronic diseases.
Three I's:
Inflammation, High Insulin and infection. Also imbalanced PH.
Wants to give strategies to guard against cancer.
Things to do:
1. get rid of infections
2. ozone
3. hyperbaric oxygen
Lyme (and cancer) hates:
oxygen-- so oxygenate your body
heat--exercise, sauna
starving for sugar--eliminate sugar entirely
Toxins:
Eliminate toxins from the body: plastics, heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, drugs, radiation, industrial chemicals, artificial ingredients in the food; growth hormones, antibiotics, corn syrup, sugar.
All the above damage DNA and cause inflammation.
The food you eat can also contain toxins
Toxins create free radicals that damage DNA and also mitochondria.
Experts starting to believe that cancer is a mitochondrial disease.
Anything you can do to restore the mitochondria will help you recover from lyme and cancer.

Get all chemical cleaning products out of your home.
Organic or better food. Non-organic food contains a lot of cancer causing junk. At least get animal products organic, highest concentration of junk. Next veggies that grow under the ground should be organic.
Get rid of allergenic foods, also causes inflammation.
Most people with lyme have leaky gut syndrome.
Doctors prescribe paleo diet, healthy fats and animal protein, fruits and veggies.
Thought that borrellia feeds on sugar including fruit sugar.
Chronic lyme people also tend to have insulin resistance so keep the carbs down for that reason, too.
Q: Hyperbaric therapy.. the mild type at home or go to clinic?
A: It's ideal if you can do it at a clinic with high temperatures. But anything you can do with raising the temp.. Sauna therapy and also get your lymph system moving, helps move toxins out. Rebounding on a trampoline or a ball helps your lymph system move.
Q: what nutrients do you love?
A: Has researched hundreds of nutrients, these have lots of research to back them up and have proven to help with lyme.
1. Vit C (she took 30,000 mg a day) at low doses is an antioxidant and
boosts immune function. At higher doses it kills microbes and it kills cancer cells. IV vit c creates H202 inside the cancer cells and kills them. Advocates high dose of Vit C. She takes Vitality C with 4000mg per teaspoon.
Take vit C to bowel tolerance... til you get diarrhea then back down a bit and stay there. Start at 1000mg and gradually increase over a couple weeks to bowel tolerance.
Chronic lyme people are vit C deficient and adrenals need Vit C. Liposomal C is good but not corn based.
2. Vitamin D
Been shown to reduce the risk of 15 types of cancer and increase survival rates of certain cancers. Stimulates immune function and directly kills cancer cells by preventing angiogenesis (tumor blood vessel development). For chronic lyme it supports immune function. Some people can't utilize Vit D due to genetics. 23 and Me can tell you if you have this.
Take with Vit K, helps with utilization. Get out in the sunshine, higher cancer rates with less sun exposure not more as 'they' say.
Mg+ helps absorb D3
3. Pancreatic enzymes
Strips biofilm off the bugs and also fibrin. Also strips cancer cells of fibrin and some destroy proteins on cancer cell membranes.
nattokinase and lumbrokinase (sp?)are two to use.
If used for biofilm or cancer cells take on an empty stomach. For digestive help take with food.
4. Green Tea
Reduces inflammation. contains EGCG, potent free radical scavenger and inhibits cancer cell formation. Take green tea extract if you don't like to drink tea.
5. Probiotics
Good for gut health (esp. with AB therapy) and support immune
function of the gut. Advocates (as does Dr. Cowden) eating a wide variety of FERMENTED FOODS since they contain a broader variety of probiotics. Kimchi, kombucha, homemade kefir, etc.
If you take supplement probiotics, maybe alternate different probiotics instead of taking the same one continuously. Product called Restore heals the gut lining. Many lyme MD's use that.
6. Frankincense essential oil
Regulates hormones, nutrient absorption, helps with pain relief, anti-inflammatory, mood help, stops cartilage breakdown. shown in studies to prevent several cancers and also reduces brain swelling... helpful for lyme pts. with brain inflammation.
7. Omega 3 EFA's
Benefits shown in many studies. Important in lyme for rebuilding cell membranes and healing the brain. Also prevents dementia and alzheimers. Any brain issue heals better with Omega 3 EFAs. Anti-inflammatory. She uses Nordic Naturals.
8. Melatonin
Helps with sleep so important for lyme. Chronic lyme people often don't produce enough melatonin. Also powerful anti-cancer agent in higher doses (10mg).
9. Ozone
If you do rectal ozone 7 days a wk. similar effect to IV ozone 3-4 times a week. you can make ozone water at home and do rectal insufflations or urine sufflations. Will kill microbes and cancer cells. Suggests working with a doctor on this.
10. Artemesinin
Used for lyme and also kills quite a few cancer cells. She likes Allergy Research Group.
many herbs for lyme also help with or protect from cancer.
Q: With chronic lyme, exercise is not on the radar for a lot of people. What do you suggest.
A: Movement is really important. Even moving in bed. Any movement stimulates the blood flow hence oxygen flow which lyme hates. At least move around the house or roll around in bed. If you are really sick, do body brushing or get a massage. Dont' do too much if you're really sick or you can feel worse but do something.
Detoxing the body
Saunas. Be careful if your adrenals aren't strong.
Coffee enemas. helps with cancer, too. Gets junk out of the liver and colon. Colon hydrotherapy works well, too.
body brushing, long strokes toward your heart.
Walking.
Juicing. Dandelion, beetroot, apple helps detox the liver.
Mold in the house is a big factor.
Unplug appliances in your bedroom. Stetzer electrical filters for the plugs in your house. neutralizes dirty electricity.
